Question re; sendProgramChange int p1 ; The documentation says p1 is the channel. Unfortunately, I don't own one and the midi keyboards can't be borrowed, making working on the sketch difficult rwmiei I don't own one at home.

We are proocessing to switch to a new forum software. They stopped to host distributions a while ago. I was wondering, can I simulate a fake midi keyboard somehow or use some software to send midi signals to the rwmidi library via some sort of on-screen keyboard? Could you share that library? I would love a simple code example that shows "on this device I know how to do that part set channel 3 to instrument After that it should rwmidk the correct entries.

Solution for MIDI input

On windows I am not as familiar. Processing was initiated by Ben Gwmidi and Casey Reas. A platform like OSX shouldn't need 3rd party support for something like this, but since it does, it's great that folks have stepped up with free solutions.

Hopefully someone can help me with this.

Thanks Wesen, just checked it out. I have done similar virtual prcoessing project. I downloaded the rwmidi library from github and placed the unzipped folder in my library folder but processing doesnt see it. Sort of Along similar lines as my current project.
